On behalf of the Dutch Biotechnology Association (NBV), we warmly welcome you to participate in this major world Biotechnology Congress in The Netherlands. This will be a joint Congress, IBS2024 and ECB2024. The annual Netherlands Biotechnology Conference, NBC-24, as well as other highlight and satellite events from partners will complete the program. Since 1960, IBS2024 has been the major event organised by the biotechnology sub-division of IUPAC, the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry.'ECB2024 is the 19th Congress organised by the European Federation of Biotechnology.
IBS2024, ECB2024 and NBC-24 will showcase frontline science that will form the basis for future commercial innovation. The scientific programme reveals an excellent line-up of plenary lectures and invited speakers. In line with the IBS and ECB tradition, we will promote the participation of young scientists by encouraging them to submit their original work to be considered for presentation as short talks or posters.
