After a 20 month interlude to bring forward the event in the calendar, the fourth Evolving Concrete will again welcome more than 120 delegates to the Royal Berkshire Conference Centre in Reading, Berkshire, where they will enjoy a full day of technical and educational presentations.
This year's theme, Fusing architecture, engineering and sculpture, is inspired by a Santiago Calatrava quote, "I have tried to get close to the frontier between architecture and sculpture and to understand architecture as an art", with the caveat that engineering makes the concept possible.
The event provides time to network and visit 19 exhibitors, while enjoying the excellent catering during session breaks and lunch. An evening dinner for delegates will round-off the day.
