From a life cycle perspective, which includes the design, storage, installation, operation and ultimately decommissioning, an asset should always perform to its required design function both effectively and efficiently. It is the goal of our industry to ensure that people, planned systems, processes and resources are all in place to ensure that our assets effectively function and are maintained in a fit-for-service condition in the most reliable, safe and cost-effective manner. A crucial ingredient in the dynamic environment in which we all work, is that each stakeholder needs to address the significant challenges in obtaining a consistent, unified understanding of the essentials of asset integrity.'The conference will be held 30-31 August at the Norris Conference Center in Houston, Texas.
