On behalf of the Organising Committee it is my very great pleasure to welcome you to Krakow, Poland for the 17th European Drosophila Neurobiology Conference - Neurofly 2018.
We hope that the ambience of Neurofly 2018 in Krakow will be as stimulating and inspiring as the programme will be. Krakow is a city rich in historical and cultural attractions and I hope you will have a memorable stay here.
The Conference will be organised in the city centre at the Jagiellonian University, one of the oldest Universities in Europe, founded in 1364. Here, Nicolaus Copernicus started his scientific education which led him to revolutionize our understanding of the Universe.'We hope that Neurofly will similarly sweep away the past and point us in new directions for the future.
