Building on the successes of our global Plant Science series of events, Global Engage is pleased to announce the co-located 7th Plant Genomics & Gene Editing Congress USA and 4th Partnerships in Biocontrol, Biostimulants, & Microbiome Congress: USA, taking place November 4-5th 2019
Plant research has transformed dramatically over the last few years as a result of revolutionary breakthroughs and cost reductions in sequencing technology. Successful sequencing of many plants, along with the improvement of biological data sets, have given plant scientists the tools and knowledge to make exciting developments to benefit agriculture. Novel gene editing technologies like CRISPR will take this research even further. This conference will examine the latest NGS, 'omic' and gene editing technologies being used for progressing plant-based research. The importance of plant phenotyping in the context of bioinformatics challenges will also be addressed, while an expert panel discussion will examine the latest genome editing policy and regulation.There will also be opportunities for early career researchers to present their work, as well as an afternoon of roundtable discussions, providing a forum for you to network with your peers and debate the key issues in plant genomics research today.
