The inaugural Solar O&M and Asset Management MENA conference was successfully held at the Sheraton Amman Al Nabil, Jordan.'O&M and asset management is a rising requirement in the region as solar project owners across the region are increasingly looking at extending the lifecycle and performance of utility sized solar plants upon the final stages of construction. In addition, the event also discussed Jordan's upcoming tenders of solar projects upon its expansion of its energy grid in 2018.
Over 80 attendees gather across the two days to discuss Jordan's upcoming commercial and utility sized solar projects as well as the latest developments on its green corridor project. They also discussed upcoming O&M and asset management requirements and the findings from case studies on the implementation of the latest technologies suitable for the region's climate to improve performance and ROI.
