Myanmar has long shared its love for sport alongside the other fiercely nationalistic South East Asian countries. Currently, one of the fastest growing industries in Myanmar is the Health and Fitness industry. Fitness clubs have started to open up all around the country but still unable to meet the demand. In conjunction with the mass return of young, educated Burmese nationals who left to further their education abroad, the continuous influx of foreign companies and their foreign employees/families have fueled the need for western style health clubs, international schools, golf clubs, and family recreation centers.
