The TIBO forum has been traditionally drawing attention of the leading Belarusian and international manufacturers of equipment, technologies, and software since 1994; this fair is one of the largest in this field in the CIS and the Baltic countries. In 2013, this specialized fair exhibited the products made by over 260 companies and organizations from 14 countries.
The objectives of the 21th forum: to summarize information society developments in the Republic of Belarus; to analyze global practice of transition to information society and to generate suggestions on improvements of the state policy in the IT field; to promote the newest technological solutions to the Belarusian market; to popularize information technology achievements across the broad layers of the Belarusian population; to attract investments to develop information and communication technologies; to assist development of the national IT industry and entrepreneurship in the IT field; to improve the system of training, education, and retraining of the IT specialists.
