The fintech behemoths are eyeing Africa's massive digitally savvy young population to be their key driver for growth. Over 50% of Africa's population that's unbanked (World Bank Data) is further providing an edge to fintech. Rampant smartphone and internet penetration couldn't have come at a better time and it's projected that Africa will house 1 billion SIM connections by 2025. Further, for becoming future-ready, 80% of African banks are seeing the fintech organizations as potential partners.
To provide a common platform for the burgeoning African FSI community, Tradepass is hosting the 9th edition World Financial Innovation Series (WFIS) at The Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in Nairobi, Kenya on 19 - 20 July 2022.
