As a valued colleague in trauma care, we would like to inform you about the upcoming 1st Triennial Conference of the International Orthopedic Trauma Association (IOTA), which is being organized by the IOTA in collaboration with the Dutch Trauma Society (NVT).
The IOTA is an international and increasingly growing organization, initiated by the OTA, where 24 members from 23 different countries from 4 continents join in sharing and spreading knowledge and cooperation in the field of Orthopedic Trauma Care worldwide.
The first IOTA Triennial Conference will be incorporated in a three-day International Trauma Conference, where the international program is combined with a significant part of the annual Dutch Trauma Conference. Well renowned keynote lecturers from the member societies will participate in this three-day high standard conference. This meeting will be held at the RAI Conference Center in Amsterdam, 14 - 16 December 2022.
We expect over 1,000 trauma surgeons and orthopedic trauma surgeons from all over the world, of which around 75% will come from the Netherlands and another quarter from 24 other IOTA member-countries from four continents. They will meet to exchange knowledge and facilitate international projects in trauma research and education in the first Triennial meeting of the IOTA , and will also actively participate in the Dutch 'Traumadagen' yearly event. Of course, we will keep you informed in the upcoming months of the program and any other matters that may be of interest to you.
