The 4th Microbiome R&D and Business Collaboration Congress: Asia will be held on March 5 - 6, 2018. It is co-located with the 3rd Probiotics Congress. Building on the success of the 2015, 2016 and 2017 meetings the event will bring well over 200 attendees from across the world to Singapore.
The last 5 years has seen the volume and scope of microbiome research expand dramatically. The discovery of the sheer diversity of microbiota in the human body has propelled research in to new areas and expanded our understanding of the microbiome and the significant role it plays health, disease and its prevention.
Across the world scientists and research institutions are now engaged state-of-the-art research to deliver preventive treatments, cures, therapies and supplements that will improve human health. The funding to translate the research and "deliver to market" real products is also available. Last year venture funding surged to $616.9 million more than all of the venture investment in the microbiome space for the previous 5 years.
