IPAC is the main international event for the particle accelerator community. Over 1200 scientists, engineers, and students from around the world are presented with the most recent results on research and development in particle accelerators, particle colliders, synchrotron light sources,free electron lasers, and associated instrumentation. The event also receives around 100 industry exhibits on related equipment and products.
IPAC rotates annually between Asia/Oceania, Europe, and the Americas, and it is the first time Brazil is chosen to host the event, with the Brazilian Synchrotron Light Laboratory (LNLS) as its local organizer.
