One of the capital's most important building projects is complete: the CityCube Berlin, a multifunctional venue for trade fairs, conferences and events which Messe Berlin is building to take on the hard-fought markets of the future. Due to the ever-increasing demand for space by its own leading trade fairs (IFA, Fruit Logistica, InnoTrans, ITB, IGW) and refurbishment work at the ICC Berlin, which has necessitated its closure, this project was of great importance to the company and the entire Berlin/Brandenburg region. The foundations were laid in July 2012 and in May 2014 enthusiastic visitors were able to attend the first major events at the CityCube Berlin. In this case the frequently over-used term "multi-functional" fits the bill: with two main floors, flexible wall partitioning, numerous conference rooms and the southern section of the exhibition grounds nearby, this venue provides the perfect setting for every imaginable event. |
