 Located next to The Trafford Centre in Manchester, EventCity is a vast single building situated on a privately-owned 24-acre site, surrounded by free parking and with immediate access to major motorway networks. EventCity launched as 'the exhibition space' in March 2011, and has since hosted numerous events and shows with bookings being confirmed through to 2014.
BackgroundThe building was constructed in the late 1990's, and has been used for a variety of commercial purposes over the last fifteen years. In 2010 the building was known as the 'Museum of Museums' a heritage and 'edutainment' venue and hosted 'Tutankhamun - His Tomb & His Treasures', the UK premiere of an international exhibition that attracted over 150,000 visitors during its 5-month run. |
