As Abu Dhabi accelerates toward its UAE Net Zero 2050 goals, the need for smarter, cleaner, and more efficient infrastructure is growing. Buildings and industrial facilities account for a large share of the emirate's energy use and emissions, making retrofits, renewable integration, and advanced energy management critical.
Hosted by the Abu Dhabi Department of Energy and aligned with the Energy Efficiency Accelerators in the Industrial Sector initiative, the Abu Dhabi Energy and Water Efficiency Strategy 2030, and the Building Retrofit Programme, along with a series of new projects scheduled for implementation from 2026-2030, the 6th RetrofitTech Buildings & Industrial Innovation Abu Dhabi Summit taking place on 23 - 24 June 2026, will highlight key policies and programmes driving energy efficiency across commercial, government, and industrial sectors.
