For more than two decades, Graphene Week has brought the graphene and 2D materials community together to drive innovation and collaboration. As Europe's leading and longest-running conference on graphene and 2D materials, the event, supported by the European Commission, has become a trusted meeting point where science, industry, and education meet to shape the future of the field.
Each edition unites over 500 participants from across the world, representing every stage of the research and innovation ecosystem: senior scientists, early-career researchers, students, and industry leaders. This diverse mix of backgrounds and perspectives is at the heart of Graphene Week, creating an inclusive environment where new ideas emerge and partnerships begin.
Graphene Week 2026 will feature a dynamic programme with more than 200 speakers, cutting-edge scientific sessions, and a rich series of fringe activities dedicated to innovation, career development, diversity, and future European opportunities. Beyond the lecture halls, the exhibition and 2D Materials pavilion will showcase the latest technologies and applications, offering hands-on interaction with companies and research initiatives.
The conference is designed around connection: interactive formats, networking sessions, and social events bring the community together to exchange knowledge and build lasting collaborations. From academia to industry, from PhD students to senior management, Graphene Week reflects the full spectrum of the graphene and 2D materials ecosystem and its reach.
Join us in Porto, 21-25 September 2026, and be part of the community shaping the next chapter of graphene and 2D materials.
