Biogaz Europe 2011 comes at a timely moment in the development of the French biogas market. Boosted by the recently revised feed-in tariff for electricity from biogas plants and the soon to be published feed-in tariff for direct biomethane injection into gas grids and combined with the country's vast and well structured agriculture and agro-alimentary sector, France in reality has an outstanding potential to become a leading European player in biogas.
The event will assemble key international, national and regional stakeholders to debate the opportunities and challenges for the French biogas sector with a particular focus on anaerobic co-digestion on the farm and multi-partner project developers.
