Seismic Inversion is a key process used extensively in exploration, production and geohazard studies to characterise the subsurface. Inversion provides a way to visualise and analyse data at higher resolution than standard seismic, facilitating the estimations of reservoir properties, and acting as a link between rock physics and seismically interpreted structure models, ultimately improving the interpretation efficiency.
We will delve into the emerging applications of seismic inversion in green energy projects, encompassing initiatives such as CCUS, geothermal and shallow subsurface characterisation for wind farms, thus advancing innovative energy solutions.
The conference will include 3 full days of technical sessions, highlighting various technologies, methodologies and case studies. It will enable networking opportunities with top specialists in the geoscience community, bringing together experiences in conventional and unconventional resources, carbonates and clastic regions, fostering grounds for an exchange of knowledge.
