Poromechanics: Bridging Disciplines to Advance Science
The 8th Biot Conference on Poromechanics (BIOT-8) will be held on October 7-10, 2025, at the University of Utah, S.J. Quinney College of Law in Salt Lake City, Utah. Hosted by Pania Newell, Sanghyun Lee, and Stanislav Glubokovskikh, co-organized by the Engineering Mechanics Institute at the American Society of Civil Engineers.
BIOT-8 is the premier international conference for experts in the mechanics of porous solids. BIOT-8 will emphasize applications of poromechanics to new and emerging fields, in addition to the traditional areas of poromechanics.
