Jointly organized by the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO) and the Taiwan Bio Industry Organization (Taiwan BIO), BIO Asia-Taiwan was launched in 2019 and has since grown into one of Asia's leading biotechnology gatherings, connecting the region's rapidly expanding biotech ecosystem with the global community.
Held annually in Taipei, BIO Asia-Taiwan brings together industry executives, innovators, researchers, investors, healthcare leaders, and policymakers from Taiwan, across Asia, and around the world. The event provides a dynamic platform for exploring emerging technologies, exchanging industry insights, identifying investment and licensing opportunities, and building cross-border partnerships.
The five-day event combines a high-level international conference with BIO Partnering, company presentations, satellite symposia, innovation and investment programs, networking opportunities, and a major international exhibition. Together, these activities span the full biotechnology and healthcare value chain - from scientific discovery and emerging technologies to clinical development, manufacturing, commercialization, investment, and global market expansion.
