Support is the largest event in the Benelux area for people with a physical disability, people caring for someone with a physical disability, people working in the disability care sector.
Originally, Support was an initiative by branch organization Fireva, organized as a trade show about living and working with a disability. The concept of Support is different, as the target audience consists of both professional visitors (40%) and consumers (60%). Since 2000, Support has been part of the Jaarbeurs Utrecht/VNU Exhibitions Europe portfolio. The trade show has been positioned as a consumer trade show, also attracting professional visitors. This means that there are a lot of extra activities. Compared to competing trade shows, Support has a completely different look and feel. Central to the trade show is the experience; This is what Support is known for, also abroad.
