Catering to the growing significance of interventional oncology within interventional radiology, CIRSE has been hosting the annual European Conference on Interventional Oncology (ECIO) since 2008. ECIO is renowned as the most comprehensive platform for IO education and knowledge sharing globally, with approximately 1,450 delegates from countries around the world attending its cutting-edge conferences across Europe. A multidisciplinary programme committee ensures that ECIO covers the most vital aspects of IO through the lens of MDT cooperation.
CIRSE's Collaborating Against Cancer Initiative allows ECIO delegates to bring their non-radiologist colleagues at no extra charge, making ECIO a truly multidisciplinary conference and a beacon for modern collaborative cancer treatment.
