2014 marks International Construction Week's 13 year history of bringing construction industry players together under one roof. The industry has come to count on the event for creative ideas and innovations, and the latest technology and developments are on display. The event was first introduced in 1998 under the name; National Construction Week. Together with construction industry growth and expansion of the sector it now includes international players and major projects. The event was renamed International Construction Week in 2004 and today is the largest and most important display in the industry covering the full spectrum of construction in Malaysia and Southeast Asia.
