The third edition of the ECCOMAS Thematic conference on Computational Methods in Wood Mechanics (CompWood 2023) will be organized at the Technische Universitat Dresden, Germany on September 5-8, 2023. Previous editions of the conference were held in Vaxjo, Sweden, on June 17-19, 2019 and in Vienna, Austria, on June 7-9, 2017.
The conference is devoted to computational methods applied in the field of wood mechanics and timber engineering for research from material properties up to structural applications. By bringing together leading academic scientists, researcher scholars and young scientists, it aims at providing a platform for scientific exchange and at facilitating discussions of research topics in wood mechanics and timber engineering.
