The third edition of the EPLA International Fair of Plastics and Rubber is over. The Poznań show held on 22-24 March was visited by over 1,500 professional attendees. Both the visitors and the exhibitors welcomed the changed format of EPLA as an event devoted mainly to raw material offers for the sector of plastics and rubber in Poland.
This year's EPLA attracted twice as many exhibitors as the previous show. 53 companies presented raw materials for plastics and rubber processing, as well as machinery, equipment and technologies used in the processing.
EPLA was not just a business-to-business event, which is the essence of each show, but also a venue for many side events. A rich programme of events was very popular among the visitors. Crowds participated in the seminar organised by the EKOGUMA Association, one of the partners of EPLA. The seminar included a talk by Prof. Władysław M. Rzymski from the Łódź University of Technology about reactive processing in elastomer technology, and a talk about rubber in the automotive industry by Dr. Karol Niciński from the IMPiB Institute (Institute for Engineering of Polymer Materials and Dies). The editorial board of Plastics Review (the media partner) and the Poznań University of Technology (the expert partner) organised a seminar about plastics.
