In 2012, it is about to happen again: as once in every four years, exhibitors of the broom and brush industries from all over the world are to present the latest technologies and attract an international fair attendance to Germany's Southwest.
The Interbrush is the most significant international meeting place for the manufacturers and suppliers of production machines, half-finished products and raw materials belonging to the entire broom and brush industries and as such the trade fair is enjoying an increasing popularity.
The number of exhibitors in 2008 increased by 29 percent to 180 exhibitors, nearly 75 percent of all exhibitors came from Europe. A fair attendance of 7,000 from more than 90 countries evaluated complete industrial processing lines, current innovative technologies and the most various raw materials and semi-finished products. The increasing number of exhibitors confirm the significance of the expansion of Freiburg's fair premises as the location of the Interbrush.
In 2012, the Interbrush will extend its exhibition range by an addition of packaging, cutting, injection molding and labeling machines, thus responding to the requests of both visitors and exhibitors of the fair.
Another fact that speaks in favour of going on a trip to Germany's South: In no other major city in Germany does the sun shine so much than in Freiburg. The Upper Rhine, the Black Forest, and the close-by Vosges mountain range are not for nothing very popular travel destinations. And springtime will offer you a very peculiar culinary specialty: fresh asparagus dishes.
