As a commercial initiative the autoClássico PORTO began in 2003 and has continued to grow ever since. The first edition held in October 2003 included a hundred exhibitors and was visited by over 25,000 people from all over the Iberian Peninsula. In 2012 for the tenth edition a total of 300 exhibitors presented displays to over 30,000 people.
