Digital Signage has witnessed a rapid growth in Myanmar, especially in Yangon and its greater areas where world-class commercial buildings have crazed for visual, commercial messages using a variety of LED-lighted digital signage. Therefore, most of the lighting products in the Myanmar market are imported from neighbouring countries, for example, from China, Thailand, Vietnam & etc. The main electrical residential/retail lamp products in use are fluorescent lamps and fluorescent energy saving lamps. The use of traditional incandescent lamps is in heavy decline (especially in urban areas). Increasing use of LED lamps for shop & store decorative lightings. Various sectors such as indoor venues that include entertainment centers, hospitality centers, health care centers, auditoriums, indoor arenas, and various other sectors such as retail, transportation, government, and corporate have benefitted from usage of LCD, LED, plasma, projectors, and 3D screens.
