NEAS 2011 was held during November 1st-5th 2011 in Shanghai New International Expo Centre and achieved a great success. The first NEAS occupied a display area of 20000m2 and attracted 84 new energy vehicles from 92 enterprises, also 103,585 visitors from 71 countries participated the show. As a brand new professional show under CIIF, NEAS 2011 did not only reflect the spirit of "Decision of the State Council on Accelerating the Fostering and Development of Strategic Emerging Industries", but also receive active feedback from many vehicle manufacturers.
NEAS, under CIIF, build a better platform to promote research and development of the industry, to support upgrading of modern manufacturing, to aid sustainable development of low-carbon economy as well. It is expected that about 100 new energy autos will be displayed in the 17,000m2 show space, over 200 exhibitors and more than 100,000 visitors will participate the show.
