Basra International Oil & Gas Conference & Exhibition, the largest oil & gas show in Iraq opened its gate to 18,000 visitors from over 35 countries in 2012, proving itself as an effective international exhibition. The event turned out to be the largest event in Iraq's oil & gas sector this year as it was in last year. Some of the leading companies in the industry being hosted during the 3rd Basra Oil & Gas were Bertling, Cameron, China Petroleum Technology, CNPC, Emerson Process Management, FMC Techonologies, Honeywell, Mitsubishi, Mott Mc Donald, Rumalia, Samsung, Scania, Shell, Siemens, Tenaris and Volvo.
