After 11 successful meetings since the inauguration in Toulouse, France, in 1983, the International Conference on Conduction and Breakdown in Solid Dielectrics (ICSD) has opened the door to liquid and gaseous dielectrics to give birth to the International Conference on Dielectrics (ICD) in Montpellier in 2016.
The ICD is an interdisciplinary forum that provides a unique opportunity for researchers from industry, academia and research centres to come together to review their research activities. It covers researches in the field of dielectric materials and dielectric phenomena, and on the behaviour and properties of the electrical insulation in devices, under operational stresses. Topics of power devices as well as all systems involving insulations and dielectrics are covered.
