According to the 2008 Annual Survey of Manufacturers released by the U.S. Census Bureau, Texas is ranked number one nationally in both the value of annual shipments and materials purchased used in production. It holds the number two ranking (after California) in the number of manufacturing employees, annual payroll, and outlays for capital equipment.
The 2012 co-located event line-up will consist of Quality Expo Texas, MD&M (Medical Design & Manufacturing) Southern Regional Series Texas, ATX (Automation Technology Expo) Texas, Design & Manufacturing Texas, TexasPack, and AeroCon�, a new conference and exhibition for aerospace/aviation, defense, and related industries.
