After two long years of restrictions, the ESP is now looking forward to welcoming you to the largest face-to-face gathering of pathologists in Europe set to take place in Basel. For five days in September, the charming old town known as the cultural capital of Switzerland and a florid hotspot for biomedical research, will be at the epicentre of international European pathology. In addition to numerous multidisciplinary sessions, which are being co-organised with educational societies and renowned collaborators, participants will also be given the opportunity to network with world-leading experts. The sessions will be covering a wide range of hot topics - from the role of digital pathology and the multidisciplinary classification of tumours to the outcome of clinical guidelines.
The motto for the ECP 2022 - The Art of Next Generation Pathology - encompasses the broad range of modern pathology, including next generation technologies as well as the next generation of pathologists but also points to the intuition and passion necessary in pathology as part of the Art of Medicine for the best management and maximal benefit for patients.
