The Summer Fancy Food Show 2016 was the largest ever since the show's 1954 inception. More than 47,000 specialty food professionals filled the exhibit halls to see over 2,670 exhibitors from over 55 countries. Show highlights included Shelf Showdown, a specialty food pitch competition where four first-time exhibitors presented their products to a panel of seasoned specialty food buyers.
And while the goal was to discover new products, the show also emphasized charity with exhibitors donating more than 100,000 pounds of specialty food to City Harvest, enough to fill six tractor-trailers.
