The 11th International Conference of The International Institute for Infrastructure Resilience and Reconstruction (I3R2) will be held in University of Seoul, from August 27 to 29. The theme of the conference is "Complex Disasters and Disaster Risk Management". The main focus therefore is to identify, understand and respond complex disasters and recover the built environment. Speakers will provide a dynamic and topical platform and discuss a vast range of subject including emergency management, public safety, security, resilience and business continuity among others. In particular, the special sessions of Disaster Risk Management featuring high level speakers from Committee on Disaster Risk Management of the World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO-CDRM) will give an insight in order to reduce the effects of disasters and recover the built environment rapidly and efficiently. In addition, World Bank Disaster Risk Management specialists have a special panel session. In this aspect, government official, professional, researchers and academics in emergency management, disaster response and recovery related fields are all invited. The program format consists of keynote addresses and concurrent sessions.
