The APAC series joins all the Societies of Automotive Engineers in countries surrounding the Pacific. It was first held in Honolulu in 1981 and has since been held in Japan, Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, China, Australia and Indonesia, thus is the major automotive forum for the Asia-Pacific Region.
With support from FISITA, SAE-International and the Victorian Government, APAC18 will bring together senior managers, policy makers, engineers and academics from the Asia-Pacific; the fastest growing region of the World. Melbourne, the host city, is a safe, friendly and culturally diverse city and has been awarded one of the "World's Most Liveable Cities" in the "World's Friendliest Nation", thus is an ideal location for APAC18.
