Mersin is located in southeast mediterranean coast of Turkey and the city links west to The Southestern Anatolia Project ( GAP ) and Middle East with its huge oppurtunities in agricultural investment and potential. Mersin as a region, has around %20 of the total agricultural production of Turkey. Mersin has also ranked in the top 10 city of Turkey's agricultural potential for investment and exportation. Production capacity of about 36 million tons of fruit and vegetables in a year that has allowed to Turkey to gain one of the most important exporters of all Europe. Furthermore MERSIN FREE TRADE ZONE is in the 4th rank with its 2.2 billion USD trade volume in Turkey.
