Latin Port Business is an event focussed on infrastructure for ports and waterways and will be hosted at TranspoQuip Latin America 2012. Together, these two events form the largest platform in Latin America for ports and give Brazil's port industry the attention it deserves. With a coast of 8.5 thousand navigatable kilometers, Brazil's port sector currently moves about 700 million tons of the most diverse merchandise and is responsible for over 90% of exports. Brazil's port system is made up of 37 public ports including sea and river ports.
Latin Port Business covers a broad range of port issues, aiming to represent this varied industry in its entirety. It covers the vast array of terminal operations, port logistics, safety, port construction and interior design and furnishing of passenger terminals. Latin Port Business will be hosted in a special area within TranspoQuip Latin America and reflects growing importance of ports at the event.
