Asian Powder Metallurgy Association (APMA) was established in 2008 in Washington D.C., during PM2008 with the aim of the development of Asian PM technologies. In 2011, the 1st International Conference on Powder Metallurgy in Asia (APMA2011) was held in Jeju, Korea. It was the first time to gather all the members concerning with PM Asian researchers and engineers. In 2013, the 2nd International Conference on Powder Metallurgy in Asia (APMA2013) was held in Xiamen, China. It was a passionate conference toward opening PM2018 World Congress.
