This year's motto for the event - Setting the course for tomorrow - refers to current decisions and developments affecting steel and the steel industry. The event focuses on trends and prospects.
Whereby, among other things, speakers will examine the opportunities and challenges of digitalisation, as well as requirements resulting from the energy transition - regarding both products and their production. Trade policy challenges in global foreign trade will also be assessed.
In the afternoon, the regulations involved in environmental, climatic and resource policies and their implications, as well as the contribution made by steel solutions for modern infrastructure, will be examined. Developments in energy efficiency during steel production will also be discussed. These and other issues are to be treated during the STAHL 2015 annual Meeting.
