Broadcasting business forecast to witness healthy growth. The industry revamps after the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission implements the broadcasting-frequency reallocation plan, and the blooming of the satellite TV business. According to the Nation Broadcasting Corp the number of satellite TV channels on the C-band platform increased from 90 channels to 155 in 2011, up by 60%. In 2012 a 30% rise in the number of new channels with more segments is expected. GMM Grammy says developing set-top boxes able to plug into all kinds of satellite sets should be the right way for broadcasters to expand their customer base.
