The Dominican Republic is pleased to invite you to the X International Pineapple Symposium, which will be held in 2023 with the theme "Protection and Management of Biodiversity: A 21st Century Agriculture Concern". This event will be held in Uvero Alto, La Altagracia province, Dominican Republic. The Pineapple Symposium is an activity of the Division Tropical and Subtropical Fruit and Nuts of the International Society for Horticultural Science (ISHS).
The organizing committee is formed by the Agricultural and Forestry Development Center (Cedaf) (institution in charge of the coordination of the event), and the Pineapple Producers Association from Monte Plata (ASOPROPIMOPLA).
With this event, it is intended to bring all identified people with the theme of pineapple production to local, regional, continental and global level so that they can share knowledge, technologies, commerce, etc., based on a scientific program that covers Oral presentations, posters and field day.
The Dominican Republic is a tropical country in the heart of the Caribbean, and has one of the most beautiful coasts in the world and its beaches are an example of this.
