2024 International Conference on Radar is hosted by the French SEE Society (Société de l'Electricité, de l'Electronique et des Technologies de l'Information et de la Communication) and supported by IEEE AESS (the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Aerospace and Electronic Systems Society).
Like every five years, the conference is back in France and will be in Rennes. Located in Brittany, Rennes hosts numerous public and private research labs working in high tech topics such as: Radar, propagation, antenna design and communications.
It is close to several major naval facilities, such as Saint Nazaire, Lorient and Brest. The biggest French MoD expertise center, so called DGA-MI; is also located in the vicinity of Rennes.
The International Conference on Radar will serve great opportunities for exchanges, presentations, interactions, among the Radar scientific and industrials communities, having in mind the conference motto "Sensing for a Safer World" encompassing : monitoring of the environment thanks to surveillance systems, safety and security in all application domains (aircraft, maritime, cars and so on).
