While production of ideal processed goods requires suitable process materials and converting machines, without the necessary converting technology (and knowhow), it is difficult to achieved the desired result. As such, it is more efficient to take advantage of existing facilities and technological ability to speed up development and production rather than investing in research and production on one's own. This increasingly important business model is presented in the Prototype / Outsourcing Exhibition.
Some of the exhibitors here naturally fall into the areas of coating, laminating, slitting, die cutting, and surface treatment, but the exhibit covers all of the processes necessary for prototyping and outsourcing.
