The international agricultural machinery sector is stepping up its contacts with Russian farmers and investors. This is the verdict of the organisers - the All-Russian Exhibition Centre (MVC VVC, Moscow) and DLG International GmbH (a subsidiary of DLG e.V.) - at the close of the international agricultural machinery exhibition AgroTech Russia. From 6 to 9 October 2011, some 623 companies and organisations from 29 countries, including all leading agricultural machinery producers, presented a wide range of the latest machinery and equipment for plant production at the All-Russian Exhibition Centre (VVC) in Moscow. With around 23,000 visitors, there was no doubting the popularity of AgroTech Russia 2011. As a visitors' survey showed, more than 90 percent of the visitors were professional farmers or agribusiness experts. AgroTech Russia is one of the largest information platforms for agricultural machinery and equipment. It takes place annually as part of the Russian "Golden Autumn" agricultural exhibition.
