We are very excited to invite you to participate to the 9th International Congress on Environmental Geotechnics, the premier event in geoenvironmental engineering, organized by the Technical Committee 215 of the ISSMGE. The conference is held under the auspices of the Hellenic Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering.
Geoenvironmental engineers are at the forefront of protecting public health and promoting sustainability and prosperity on this planet. The conference theme on "Addressing Global Challenges" aims to highlight the role that Environmental Geotechnics plays on addressing major societal challenges such as: Urbanization and Aging Infrastructure, Energy Security, Resource Scarcity and Preservation, Climate Change and Natural Hazards, Protecting Public Health, The Next Frontier: Living in extreme environments and Education & Post-truth Society.
