The ASME IC Engines Conference has traditionally served as a common venue to bring together industry experts, academicians, students and other professionals to share and exchange ideas over a broad spectrum of synergistic topics including but not limited to (1) high-efficiency,novel engine combustion concepts, (2) conventional and alternative fuel formulations for future engines, (3) novel and improved after-treatment technologies aimed at reducing tail-pipe emissions, (4) advancements in conventional and hybrid engine control systems, and (5) advances in mechanical design and lubrication technologies related to internal combustion engines of various sizes ranging from automotive light- and heavy-duty engines to large bore engines for locomotive, propulsion and power generation applications. The conference provides an excellent networking opportunity for students and young professionals with leading automotive and power generation industry experts.
