In terms of population among the CIS countries the Republic of Uzbekistan is ranked third after Russia and Ukraine and has more than 27 million people. The country is situated in central and north-western part of Central Asia, bordered by Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Afghanistan. The Republic of Uzbekistan independently carries out foreign trade with 150 countries. The country has adopted investment program. The total volume of foreign investment to date has exceeded $ 14 billion.
