The Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue (UQAT) and the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (ICM) invite you to Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec, Canada, from June 8 to 11, 2025, for the Mines and Environment Symposium 2025 at the Gouverneur Rouyn-Noranda Convention Centre.
The Symposium is the result of collaboration between the Research Institute in Mines and Environment (IRME) UQAT-Polytechnique, the Research and Service Unit in Mineral Technology (URSTM), and numerous stakeholders from governments and mining companies.
The objectives of the Symposium aim to share the latest knowledge and discuss practical experiences in order to 'find solutions to reconcile profitability and environmental protection'.
