Agricultural production is broad and includes corn, soybeans, beans, sugar cane, potatoes, as well as fruit growing in full expansion, which has been diversifying the income of local producers. Among the prominent fruits are strawberry, passion fruit, apple, peach, fig, blackberry, tangerine and grapes.
The livestock sector also plays a fundamental role in the regional economy, with emphasis on dairy cattle, beef cattle and the creation of other species, showing strong growth and economic potential.
In 2026, the city of Lambari (MG) will be the stage for AGROMINAS + FORCAFE, an event with the purpose of becoming the meeting point for agribusiness solutions and innovations in the South of Minas Gerais.
